This Thanksgiving, over 35 local yoga studios all over the Greater Seattle area joined forces in support of a common cause: making yoga accessible to men, women and children who are incarcerated. Donation based yoga classes are being hosted this week to raise funds for yoga behind bars, a local nonprofit organization and a Seattle Yoga News partner. Yoga Behind Bar’s mission is to “share yoga and meditation with incarcerated people to promote rehabilitation, personal transformation, and a more just society for all.”
