Seattle Yoga News often gets asked by the Seattle area yoga community about yoga studios recommendations. When asked about “the best yoga studio near me”, we wanted to be able to provide an informed and objective answer to that question within the Greater Seattle area anytime we get asked regardless of the neighborhood or the city where the person asking is located.

So, in 2018, we published the first edition of the “Best Yoga Studios of the Greater Seattle Area Directory & Ranking” compiling the complete list of yoga studios in the region and conducting an in-depth audit of online reviews and scores of all yoga studios. This is the 3rd edition of the directory and ranking published in November 2024.

The Ranking in our Seattle area yoga studios Directory is based on an in-depth audit and analysis of over 850,000 online reviews from Yelp, Google Maps, Facebook, MindBody, and ClassPass. In order to be considered for the ranking, yoga studios must meet the following three criteria:

Be located in one of the following four counties: King, Snohomish, Kitsap, or Pierce
Be primarily focused on teaching yoga
Have a physical location offering a weekly public yoga class schedule of 5 or more classes
