According to Indian teachings as far back as the Upanishads, our bodies contain rivers of energy, called nadis in Sanskrit, that intersect in thousands of chakras, the Sanskrit word for wheel.

The seven main chakras run from the base of the spine to the crown of the head. The chakra system provides a map with which to navigate the life experience that resides in our bodies. Through practice and self-inquiry, this experiential workshop will move through the seven main chakras with a focus on strengthening foundation, will, compassion, expression, and self-knowledge.

Please have at least one year of regular yoga practice, and a desire to learn more about who you are. Wear clothing comfortable for doing postures and for sitting on the floor (chairs will also be available). Bring a journal or paper and a writing utensil.

Note: these offerings will be similar but not the same! You are welcome to register for both.

Cost:

  • $45 up to five days before workshop
  • $55 after
