Come experience the Power of Iyengar Style Yoga.

We’ll be practicing poses from a variety of categories standing, sitting, forward or backward extending, twisting, inverted, restorative and others to experience the particular flavor of a strong  Iyengar Yoga practice session.

Some of the hallmarks of Iyengar Yoga are:

the importance of creating poses that are well aligned and full of life
methodical sequencing so that you can go deeper into your practice without risk of being unprepared for the next pose or risk of injury
the role of the teacher in giving personal relevant feedback
the intensity of the practice which means among other things that through careful choice of poses, correct actions and mental focus the yoga is powerful and transformational
timings meaning as students become more familiar with each pose and with regular practice staying longer in the pose to get its full benefit makes much more sense (known as experiencing the nectar of the pose)

The workshop is open to all.

Especially welcome are those who are new or newer to Iyengar Yoga and want to experience one of the most influential yoga systems. Iyengar Yoga is practiced by over 10 million people throughout the world.

Date & Time: Saturday September 7, 2019  @4:45pm-7:00pm
