About the instructors: Adrienne Rabena & Eric Rabena

Yoga brings me to life. Life takes me back to yoga.
I moved to Seattle without knowing this city or knowing a soul. The stars aligned in my favor, as they do when you follow your heart, and I began teaching at a handful of brand new studios that all began to flourish, defining a new wave of athletic, musical yoga in Seattle.
I call what I teach “creative and intelligent vinyasa flow.” For short, I’ve settled on: “spirit flow.” It is a unique and powerful class that combines rhythmic, dancey breath-led movement with structured anatomical opening for a peak posture.
My fluid yet pragmatic style is challenging, inspiring and enrapturing. I am fiercely dedicated to intuitive and flowing movement, and I delight in the challenge to choreograph beautiful, intelligent transitions.

I come to yoga to cultivate greater awareness.
I teach a musical, fluid vinyasa flow. I encourage my yogis to explore consciousness and experience awareness through the energetic cues of the energetic body. My classes are a journey into yourself to notice the dynamic scintillation, to feel your deep-driving subjective emotional vibration, to learn the whispering language of your subtle body. It’s a practice of gratitude for self, learning greater gratitude and acceptance through relinquishing control, and finding peace and beauty in all things through moment-to-moment living, moving meditation.
My practice is super playful and explorative, and I look to expand the barriers of systemic though through utilization of the energetic breath and whole body mindfulness. It is my heart’s intention for my yoga, both on and off the mat, to influence my students to a greater awareness.
