[Canceled] Chakras | A Restorative Experience with Pam Rollins
Mar 20, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm| $25
During this livestream event, students will experience a 1.5 hour Restorative practice that encompasses poses for the chakras. While in these poses students will be provided readings to offer deeper insight into how chakras affect our daily lives. Students will be given a handout that includes Yoga poses, stones, oils, chants, Pranayama, mantras, and more so they can continue their chakra work at home.
Our practice will be followed by a 30 minute discussion (& writing exercise if this is your routine after meditation). Students are encouraged to bring a journal and pen. Suggested items for practice: mat, 2 blankets, 2 bolsters (or pillows), yoga blocks, journal, pen, & water bottle; dress comfortably. Please log in 15 minutes early to settle in.
Students will walk away from this practice feeling their chakras opened and moving in the right direction. The tools provided will help guide their understanding of how their daily lives are affecting their spirit and how they can work to align the two. It will give students greater insights into recognizing patterns and learning how to break free from them. They will be provided materials that will demystify the chakras so they feel comfortable enough to work on healing not only on their Yoga mats but also in their daily lives.
Date & Time: Saturday, Mar. 20th, 2021 @7pm – 8:30pm
About the instructor: Pam Rollins
Pam knew she wanted to teach yoga after her first class. She first approached yoga as a way to manage stress while enlisted in the US Coast Guard. What she gained during her practice motivated her to become a teacher and offer classes to her co-workers. Not only is she driven by her own experiences on the mat, but also by her students who continue to inspire her and offer feedback.
Pam has trained in many practices of movement including Vinyasa, Hatha, and restorative yoga. She is also certified in Mindful Yoga Therapy for Veterans.
In her classes Pam offers what she enjoys in her practice: strength, grounding, and deep relaxation with an eclectic music playlist. Her goal as a teacher is for her students to “have the best night of sleep ever” after taking class.
