Our intention is to use sound to access the Sphinx as an entry point into the mysteries of Egypt. Here we ask for permission for safe passage to connect to the wisdom and universal love held at this site. We stand between the paws of the Sphinx in meditation connecting heart to heart as we pass into the library of infinite knowledge. Call on the Sphinx to receive and facilitate your remembering.
The Sacred Sound Journey to Egypt is a sonic experience during which you’re awash in an ocean of sound vibrations produced by various instruments clearing negative and congested energy in your body and field. Singing bowls, bells, and gongs create harmony which amplifies the power of your intentions for optimal health and spiritual well-being. This complex fabric of tones brings peace to your being as you choose to surrender to the frequencies. All are welcome to receive powerful gifts of Egypt offered through the Sphinx.
Please arrive early to settle in comfortably with your blanket, pillow, yoga mat etc. For the best experience lie down in savasana, wear comfortable clothing. Hydrate before and after the event. After the event allow time for rest, reflection, engaging your creativity, and/or connect with Sara or Laura for further support if needed.

About the instructors: Sara Yao & Laura Bailey
Sara Yao specializes in personal transformation. She has worked with more than 4,000 people across the globe and authored two books, Get Present and Drop In; and her work has been seen on CNN, MindBody Magazine, SELF Magazine and King 5 News. Her focus is on helping people strengthen their awareness of the present moment. Sound healing has been an integral part of her own journey into deeper levels of presence. After being trained as a level two sound healing practitioner at the Seattle Sound Temple, she integrates sound work with her clients as a way to connect with deeper levels of clarity and creativity.
Laura’s connection to Egyptian mysteries spans more than twenty years. Her experience walking the initiates’ path has given her a profound breadth and depth of wisdom which she loves to share through her spiritual tours through the land’s sacred temples and the waters of the River Nile. Certified in the art of sound healing by Seattle Sound Temple, Laura offers community sounds baths, private one- on-one and group sound sessions in Seattle, Washington. These soundscapes are informed by nature, the ancestors, and sacred instruments and the voice to create an enveloping experience that relaxes and enlivens, while bringing in a deep state of peace and awareness developing mental and emotional resilience, improving mental functions with more clarity, and deepening connections with self and others.
