Winter Solstice Mala Practice

We invite you to join us this Winter Solstice with an afternoon of Mala with intention & community.

When: December 18th, 2016 from 2-5PM

We will spend the first half of the afternoon setting our personal intentions while working with beads creating own own Mala necklaces, or “heavenly garland”, yoga beads, or meditation beads. All supplies included.*

Midway through the afternoon, Emily Kasman will guide us through a Mala Yoga practice. Helping us bring that rich intention we’ve been setting into our Mala beads, onto our mats and into our yoga practice.

This is a flowing yoga practice open to all levels – beginners are very welcome, modifications will be provided. We will be moving with the breath through the poses, letting the movements take us deeper into our own practice and intention. We will be in yoga practice for about 80mins, together as a community we will reach our goal of 108 sun salutations together.

For those that feel called, join us after the workshop for Holiday refreshments and snacks.
*All supplies for your Mala necklace will be provided, however if there is a specific stone you’d like to work with feel free to bring your beads to class, email theatriumarts@gmail.com for bead size suggestions.
