Yoga for Runners with Rebecca Bliquez at Whole Life Yoga in Greenwood
March 3| $65
Feeling stiff and sore? Overly tight, stretched or just “unbalanced”? Both new and experienced runners can benefit from the many tools that yoga brings to complement your running practice! In this series we will safely and effectively balance stretching and strengthening areas of the body most utilized (or under-utilized!) in running. We will also explore using specific pranayama (breathwork) techniques to increase breath capacity and stamina. Whether you’re a recreational Green Lake runner or training for your next half-marathon, this class is for you!
Dates: Tuesdays, March 3-24th.
Time: 6-7:15 pm
About the instructor: Rebecca Bliquez
Rebecca Bliquez is a certified yoga instructor through Whole Life Yoga’s teacher training program, and is registered with Yoga Alliance (RYT) at the 500-hour level. She studied prenatal yoga with Margaret Pierce of the Pierce Yoga Program and has completed Lynn Jensen’s Yoga for Fertility Teacher Training Levels 1 and 2. In over ten years of teaching she has enjoyed finding ways to make yoga suit the individual needs of her students and seeing the benefits that result.
