Whether you’re a frequent flyer looking for more miles, or just flirting with the idea of lifting a toe off your mat, this all levels workshop is designed for you!

We’ll begin with a flow specifically curated to warm up your core, shoulders, hips, and wrists, and then we’ll dive into the foundations of flight.

By breaking down the essential elements of Arm Balances, you’ll learn tips and tricks to safely and successfully arrive in poses such as Bakasana (crow), Koundinyasana (Flying Splits), Side Crow, Flying Pigeon and more. Come ready to sweat, laugh (probably a lot), and learn.

Mara

After many years of an on again, off again relationship with yoga I found a love for powerVinyasa in 2012. Looking to further explore my practice, and exhausted from the image focused world of Musical Theatre in which I have spent most of my life, I decided to enroll in a 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2013. I had just paid my final deposit when I injured my hip and ended up with a severely torn hamstring. My Physical therapist told me to find something to do besidesyoga. I didn’t listen and I couldn’t be happier. With her help, and always listening to my body, I found ways to alter my practice that allowed me to continue my practice, complete my training, and begin teaching almost immediately. I don’t use the term ‘modify’ in my teaching; my experience led me to realize that there are simply infinite options available no matter what you are working with that day, or week, or month. I love to help others find those options in a safe way to find the practice that works for them. I love to play in class, and like to think of my style as playful, power vinyasa.
