Teaching yoga as a path and profession requires ethical study beyond being able to name the yamas and niyamas and into a deeper exploration of the ethical foundations that guide our behavior and inform our relationships with our students. Situations will inevitably arise that require us to move beyond theoretical & philosophical understanding and into action.

During this brief training we will:

  • Set an ethical foundation as teachers in complex relationships with our students and each other

  • Prepare for the inevitable awkward moments, situations, and relationships by examining the fabric of our individual ethics

  • Engage in dialogue and reflection on how to go deeper with our understanding of self-awareness and ethical dilemmas

  • Develop tools to engage in dialogue with each other for support and guidance
