Partner Yoga with Karina Brossmann
Jun 30, 2018 @ 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm| $25
Adding another person to your practice changes the whole experience. When your body is given gentle and intentional physical contact it has a soothing effect on your nervous system. (This is why we love massages so much.) Partner yoga is not acro yoga, which means there are no big lifts or flips. Partner’s yoga is about using the weight of your partner to help you sink deeper into the stretch and pose. Partner yoga is much more of a restorative experience then acrobatic, which is why you don’t need any prior yoga experience to participate. This workshop could be a great way for you to deeply connect with a lover, friend or family member.
For this workshop, you must bring a partner in order to participate.
Karina has been offering partner yoga workshops in Seattle for the past 4 years. She creates a sweet environment for students to mess up, laugh, and connect deeply through breath and movement.
Cost: $25 per person ($50 per pair)
About the Teacher: Karina Brossmann
Based out of Seattle WA, Karina Brossmann has been reveling in the world of sound and movement for over a decade. She received her BFA in Theater from Cornish College of the Arts, her 200 RYT yoga certification with Reflections Yoga, and has written and performed throughout Washington with former college band Annabel Lee and sister/flutist Bevani.
In 2014 she decided it was finally time to create her own, original album. She teamed up with the Canadian Baker brother-duo to produce nine gorgeous pop-ballads that will be released early 2016, titled “Love Unbroken.”
When Karina is not singing and performing around town, she teaches yoga at multiple studios across the Greater-Seattle area and holds private mentorship sessions for young girls (ages 8-18) looking for support in unleashing their unique voice.
