Take an evening to reflect on your values, memories, and life experiences through a chakra-based yoga practice. Anne Phyfe will offer simple yoga postures that bring awareness to the seven chakras with pauses to self-reflect or fill out prompts from her book This Life of Mine: A Legacy Journal. All levels welcome. Please wear yoga clothing, and bring a journal and/or copy of the book and a writing instrument.

This Life of Mine was created to inspire people to record the unique details and stories of their lives, both for themselves and for those they will one day leave behind. It includes a mix of fill-in-the-blanks, short answer questions, list-making prompts, and ideas for simple sketches or photos to create a nuanced portrait of a person’s life through reflections, memories, and stories.

This Life of Mine is not included in the cost of the class, nor is it necessary to take the class, but will be available for purchase at $19.95.

Cancellation Policy:  Refunds of 90% up to five days prior to workshop. No refunds allowable after that time.

What to expect in Anne Phyfe’s classes: Anne Phyfe’s focus in teaching is to find both energy and calm through these ancient practices. Her classes are both strong and reflective, and usually involve a theme or intention in practice. Anne Phyfe has just returned to teaching drop-in classes after a sabbatical. Main Influences/Styles/Traditions: Anne Phyfe currently studies in the Tantric tradition of The Himalayan Institute. Her teachers are Rod Stryker and Shari Friedrichsen. She has also been heavily influenced by the following teachers: Gary Kraftsow, Sarah Powers, Tias Little, Ana Forrest, and her very first yoga teacher, Kathleen Hunt.
