We invite all yogis and yoginis to join us for a two hour Pilates/Yoga, practical and experiential, anatomy workshop with Alison Williams, MA, and Diana Garcia-Snyder, MFA. This workshop is designed for practitioners of all levels who are looking to move deeper into their practice through greater understanding of their anatomy and its functionality through the practice and principles of the Pilates Method.

We will be exploring the hamstrings and their impact on the body’s structure, as well as specific issues related to hamstring injury or imbalance.

Using Pilates principles, we will examine various structural patterns impacted by tight, weak, overextended, or underutilized hamstrings in an effort to learn how to strengthen and/or release the hamstrings to optimize the body’s functionality. In addition to exploring how Pilates principles can benefit your Yoga practice, we will explore the power of the hamstrings in helping us to run, skip, and jump!!!

Price: $40, or $35 if pre-registered
