As the season turns to winter, it is all too common to feel our moods sinking. Yoga teaches us that what we do with our body affects both the state of our mind and our emotions. In this workshop, we will explore the ways in practicing yoga poses to uplift our consciousness, even as the season turns dark and cold. Standing poses, chest-opening, and back-bending poses will help us bring the mind from a dull state to clear alertness. We will also have time for short discussion and reflection. Students should expect to leave class feeling lighter in mind, body, and spirit! All levels are welcome.
