Join Kristen O’Conner for this 2-hour exploration of the Yoga of Awareness, otherwise known as Kundalini Yoga. Together, you will explore invigorating movement, posture exercises, a gong bath, and meditation.

Kundalini yoga is a practice that allows you to dive deep into the different layers of your existence, including your mind, your body, and your soul, to awaken a new sense of awareness.

While many practitioners choose to wear white to expand their inner radiance, please wear whatever clothing is comfortable for you to move in. Bring your yoga mat, a blanket, a mug for tea, and an open mind. Tea will be provided.

About the instructor: Kristen O’Conner

Kristen OConner

 

Born and raised in Burien, WA, Kristen is a local yogini who knew she wanted to teach yoga after her first class. While initially loving the way a yoga posture workout made her feel, over time she saw the much deeper benefits of a continued practice. What keeps her doing yoga is being constantly motivated by a fun, inspiring, and empowering environment, which fosters personal awareness and growth. Kristen has trained in many traditions and practices of mindfulness and movement including Viniyoga (vinyasa krama), Kundalini, Iyengar, Yoga Nidra (guided meditation), STOTT Pilates, Undulation, Vipassana and other daily practices for wellness. Kristen is a creative and innovative instructor who will bring the class together in an awakening and unifying experience.
